The last few years haven't been kind to Peter Quill, but if there's one thing still going for him, it's the Guardians. With Knowhere are their new base, a fantastic new ship, and plenty of new mission, things seem to finally be going well for the galaxy's favorite found family. But things take a turn for the worse after the Guardians respond to a distress call that sets them on a collision course with a dangerous new foe...or at least, new for all but one of them. Combine that with a newly born golden gladiator, a green-skinned ghost from the past, and a suspicious, time-skipping enigma, and the Guardians are certainly in for one last wild ride! ... Can't wait for May 5th? Neither can I! This fanfiction represents my best prediction for the upcoming Marvel film, and while an added OC certainly skews my accuracy, this fic is what I have to satisfy myself (and anyone else) with until the film finally arrives! Following the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Peter Parker has been left truly alone-forgotten by the world due to the memory-erasing spell cast by Doctor Strange. With no family, friends, or identity to rely on, Peter is physically and emotionally battered, trying to figure out a way to fix the mess he caused. There will be some edits to the lore for the sake of the story, but I'll try to stay on top of putting it in the notes when I do that. This is a story about a mutant girl who works with Professor Xavier and the X-Men being recruited by Tony Stark to help with a thing called being short-staffed. This is pre-Infinity War, and it will be different than the movie. Cassandra is a fifteen year old mutant with a kind of positivity about life that only so many can hope for. When her professor comes to her asking her to help Mr. Stark out in NYC, what does she do? Does she go? If she does, will she meet and make new friends? Could she meet someone that could be like her? That someone could be Peter Parker, aka Spiderman.
