Alex Hetch is a normal high school boy, who's bisexual and wants to be proud of it. One day he gets chosen for a special day event where he gets to celebrate whatever national day he wants, but many are not happy with what he chose. It's up to him and his ragtag group of friends to make sure that this day arrives without any hitches.

They weren't heroes-just four boys killing time at the mall. But when a stranger hands them a paper with a secret, they're pulled into a world of hidden keys, forgotten fears, and tests they never asked for. Midnight is coming... and it won't wait for anyone.
