I move my way about, weaving through the rows of desks, making it to the assigned table. I awkwardly sit down in one of the seats. The two boys were being pricks, and the other girl wasn't here today. Guess I'll have to do all the work for today. Lifting the screen of my computer, I look for the assignment in the document that was sent for each group. The document has a prompt, why were the beliefs of the greek so focused on the aspect of love, war, and beauty? "What's your name?" One of the two ask, I glance up to see his face. He has bright red hair and hazel eyes, with an un-complimenting tan skin to match somehow. "Valerie," I say, giving a weak grin. "I'm Apollo and this grumpy cat over here is Duncan," He says, gesturing towards the guy next to him. His hair was a darker blonde with a lighter tan. His eyes were looking down at his phone, snickering every couple of minutes. "Apollo what the hell!" Duncan exclaims as Apollo pulls Duncan's phone away. His eyes were filled with anger, I noticed his eyes were unique. They looked blue, green, and grey at the same time. "We are in a group project, Duncan," Apollo says, scolding Duncan for his behavior. "Hi, I'm Duncan. And you are?" He questions, Apollo's head in his hands. "I'm Valerie, seems we'll be partners for the rest of the year," I say sarcastically, rolling my eyes at him. An exasperated breath leaves from between my lips.
