its Saturday and grover jones heads to detention for one reason. no not because he got in trouble. or he's not picking up his sister no for violet adams his crush. when he's there the schools drill went off saying this was a code nine. the keller plant exploded or so they thought. Students don't usually like having to go to school under normal circumstances, so imagine how the students at Kent High School feel considering what's happening to them. While the teens are attending Saturday detention at the school, a chemical plant meltdown causes an explosion of their small town. They survive but are now trapped inside the educational institution -- and they are not alone. Predatory mutant freaks have taken over the school and town, leading to a battle between them and the students. Escape is not an option because venturing outside into the dangerous unknown presents its own life-and-death stakes for the teenagers. What will happen to them? Violet broke up with him because he lied to protect her. Zoe won't even look at him. Zane pretty much stole his girlfriend. Diesel doesn't know who to trust. The Keller kids turned their friends against them and now they may be the only ones left that will survive. Grover and Barrett leave the school, never to return. What would be the point when no one even trusts you anymore? Barrett has developed some questionable yet undeniable feelings for his friend. Grover has no idea what he feels for anyone after Violet broke his heart but he knows he trusts Barrett with his life. Despite all of their personal troubles, this duo still has to be prepared for anything. Especially when Keller Chemical is still out there killing any survivors the initial explosion and aftermath failed to do. Enemies who were once allies will return, Keller Chemical experiments will seek revenge, new allies will emerge as well as new enemies. Who will lose. . .and who will prevail?

Jack was practicing at the dojo when his cousin kai came in and wanted to fight him so they fought and jack got hit really hard and he fell to the floor and was unconscious then kai put him somewhere where the others would never find him.after he was done he walked out and Rudy and the others came in and saw jacks stuff but no jack.will the others find jack?will jack wake up and will he be able to do karate again? Will the others wake up jack before it's too late?
