A mysterious Pokemon has started to steal the time gears. Ancient objects that control the flow of time in an area. When they are removed, time in that region halts and everything is suspended. Meanwhile a Riolu finds an odd Pokemon claiming to be a human. Can these two become thethe best of friends? Can they save the planet? Only time will tell.

12-Year-old Braydon Muldoon is excited to finally go on a Pokémon journey with his lifelong friends Hayden and Cassandra Kennedy and have the adventure of a lifetime, catching Pokémon, battling the gyms across the region of Libella, and competing in the Pokémon League. Little does Braydon and his friends know that they're going to get a lot more than they bargained for on their Pokémon journey, facing vicious Pokémon poachers, a shadowy cult, and more. Braydon just wanted to get out of his small hometown and have a fun adventure with his friends, but now they and their Pokémon might just have to step up and save not just the region, but probably the world.

Dusknoir has resided in the renewed past going on two years. He has since tried to redeem himself, earning the forgiveness of some people. However, though much less chaotic then his old life of serving Primal Dialga, Dusknoir's life remains far from peaceful. As if Dusknoir didn't already have enough to worry about, he's raising a certain rambunctious torchic-turned-human who seems to try with every ounce of her tiny being to get herself into as much trouble as she possibly can, along with her inseparable little partner in crime. Things begin to get even more chaotic as a man and his daughter move from far away to their desolate island, sharing similar experiences to Dusknoir. Their daughters even share a very strange detail. The two men begin develop a friendship, with the potential to bloom into something more. However, the dark force that once had full control over Dusknoir begins to grip him again. Will he save his sanity, or be lost forever?

Author's note: ALL EVENTS IN THE STORY ARE NOT CANON. The story's events take place during the Post-game of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Sky. Consider this as my version of the game's prequel and alternate Post-game story and ending.^^
