A little sneak peek: Chennai, 2014. Highschool. I was playing pen fight with Gokul when Chandru elbowed me in the ribs. "Macha, macha... un aal draaaa," he whispered. (Dude, dude... your girl.) I dropped my pen and looked at the door. Abi entered our class carrying a notebook. She handed the notebook to the substitute teacher. The teacher asked her something and then started signing. Abi used this time gap to look at me. She knew exactly which bench I usually sit on, so her eyes found mine instantly. I raised my eyebrows at her. She glared at me cutely, knitting her eyebrows together and scrunching her nose while slightly pouting her mouth. Damn!!! Suddenly, I became too aware of my hands. My hands were screaming, Bro, what do we do? ------------------------ Welcome to Abi and Ashu's journey. A slow-burn love story about growing up, innocence of school love, long-distance struggles, and the challenge of choosing between dreams and love. Before you begin, here's what you should know: *Inspired by a True Story* This story is inspired by real events from my life. It is written in a journalistic, slice-of-life style, so some parts may feel repetitive because real life doesn't follow a perfect script. While the emotions and major events are real, a few fictional elements have been added to make the story flow better. Also, the present-day portions are completely fictional. The story is mostly told from Ashu's point of view. But some chapters are from Abi's perspective and were written by my real-life girlfriend. These chapters share her side of the story and moments Ashu never saw. The story is set in a Tamil cultural background. Tamil dialogues are kept to preserve the emotions, with English translations included. Note: This is our first time writing a story. I used AI tools to improve grammar and polish sentences. I hope you enjoy being part of our journey!

Some stories begin with a dream. Mine began with a pen. I don't remember every page of my childhood. Some memories are blurred, some are missing, and some have stayed with me in ways I never knew how to explain. This is the story of a girl who grew up learning, struggling, hoping, losing, and finding pieces of herself along the way. A story of childhood, family, pain, dreams, love, and the person I am still becoming. These are the pages I remember. The pages I survived. The pages I finally decided to write. Welcome to my story. - R. Vale

The Boy Who Learned to Disappear Nobody noticed when he started disappearing. At first, it was small things, the messages he stopped answering, the places he stopped going, the conversations he learned to survive without being part of. He was still there. Still smiling. Still saying, "I'm fine." But somewhere between becoming the person everyone needed and losing the person he used to be, he discovered that disappearing could be easier than explaining. This is the story of a boy who learned to make himself smaller whenever life became too loud. A boy who carried things he couldn't name, swallowed words he couldn't say, and slowly convinced himself that being unseen was safer than being known. But you cannot disappear forever. And eventually, he has to face the one person he has spent years running from: himself. The Boy Who Learned to Disappear is a story about loneliness, silence, identity, and the quiet ways a person can fall apart while looking completely fine from the outside.

Two brothers. One piano. Two very different journeys. Aden has always loved music. But growing up beside Freddie-a younger prodigy whose fingers seem to understand the piano better than words-leaves Aden wondering if there will ever be a place for him in the world he dreams of joining. While Freddie's talent shines effortlessly, Aden fights for every note, carrying the weight of comparison, family expectations, and a question that refuses to disappear: Is greatness something you are born with... or something you discover within yourself? From quiet afternoons beneath the banyan tree in India to the dazzling streets of Paris, Aden's journey takes him through friendship, heartbreak, love, loss, and the search for where he truly belongs. Along the way, he learns that music is not a competition between those who are gifted and those who struggle. It is a language that connects families, heals old wounds, and carries memories across generations and continents. Because becoming a great musician is not just about mastering the piano. It is about discovering who you are-and where your heart calls home.

⋆₊˚⊹ The Adventures Of Broke College Kids ⋆₊˚⊹ A group of six friends: a FTM, starving artist and author that has taken up working out as a hobby; a well-rounded, gothic landlord with a passion for motorcycles, engaged to the woman of her dreams; a self-made millionaire, ex-business woman, married to Hollywood's sapphic sensation; a burnt-out child prodigy turned k-pop stan working as an amateur model; an illegal, underground ring fighter and street racer; and a homeless, military school graduate with little to no work experience and a borrowed suit. Every day, we meet people...some stay, some pass through, some change us in ways we don't even realise until much later. This year, I'm writing daily stories about the people who've crossed my path.. from my kindergarten days to my first job, from random encounters to deep connections. Some of them were kind. Some tested my patience. Some taught me lessons I didn't know I needed. All of them left something behind. Names will be changed, but the stories are real. This is my way of honouring memory, healing through reflection, and maybe reminding you of someone you once knew, too. One person, one story, every day...for a year. Let's begin.

She gets introduced to a group of girls who quickly become the center of her world, and before she knows it, April is laughing, making memories, and pretending that everything is finally okay. As the time goes on, the cracks in her carefully built life slowly begin to show. Friendships change. Secrets surface. People she trusts aren't always who she thinks they are. ⚠️ Content warnings: This story contains references to eating disorders, self harm, substance abuse, and other sensitive themes. Never thought I'd join Blue Spirits, but you know what they say, when stars align, they shit on you. When I was a kid, life was all about my sister. Everyone I'd ever known growing up had some poik spots somewhere. It was normal. Then these freak kids were born who never got em. Clean, and my sister was one of them. Those kids started to disappear. It had to be the Supremacy, and since they had been coming around more often, I felt like I had to guard my sister with my life. No one ever really questioned Supra around here. They just kind of let them do whatever. But there was one kid who wanted to make a difference, and everyone knew him by his nickname like a Super Hero. Rebellion. The Kid Crusader wanted to be behind it all, and for whatever reason, he wanted me to join him. Blue Spirits? Well that comes later. Just let me tell my story, for cryin' out loud. This is my story. It's kind of slow, but it's still mine nonetheless. Buckle up, kids. -Alex This book takes place within the Inherited universe *See also Locus: The Age of Spring, for another book/series in the same universe that has mention of this character. It is not necessary to read it to enjoy this book. Content Warning: This book will include violent scenes, death, and deteriorating mental psychosis.

Samantha Reece is your average, everyday, very normal twelve-year-old girl. She's a starry-eyed, hopelessly romantic geek who desperately wants to fall in love at the camp she's heading to in just a few hours. Where she's from, she's known as the trumpet-playing, comic-book-reading, ancient-Egypt-loving nerd who is just one of the guys. So she yearns to be like the heroines in the stories and books that she reads-to be swept off her feet by some handsome stranger in a whirlwind romance. She wants the kind of passionate, sweet, caring bond that she sees between Rogue & Gambit in her X-Men comics. But then something strange happens. She goes to sleep on May 16th at a camp in Maine, but wakes up in her 17-year-old body. Sam lives an entire day in this future version of herself, then wakes right back up in her small pre-teen body. Was it real, or an incredibly vivid dream? Just in case, she records a tape recounting everything that happened that day. The thing is, it was real. Every few years, Sam wakes up in the body of her future self. As she gets older, she becomes mature enough to plan for these jumps-and the questions become harder to ignore. Why is it happening? Where is she going next? What happens if she changes something her future self already lived? When does it end? And most importantly, what happens when it does? Mixtapes to Myself is a story about finding yourself, appreciating where you come from, and enjoying every step of the journey that gets you to who you will be. It's about finding and losing love, the friendships that come and go, and the ride-or-die friendships you're lucky enough to find. It's about the things you tuck away, the pieces of yourself you may forget, and the people you lose along the way. It's a vivid tale of a girl who becomes a teenager, who becomes a woman, and how much we can change in just a few short years-and just how completely our lives can change along the way. This...is Mixtapes to Myself.
