Some friendships don't end. They just grow quiet. Alyssa Mae Rivera and Jaden Luis Mercado once shared everything. Inside jokes, long walks home, and the kind of friendship that felt permanent simply because it always had been. They believed time would wait for them. That growing up would not change what they had. But life moves forward in small, unnoticed ways. As their dreams pull them toward different paths, their conversations become shorter, their silences longer. The jokes stay the same, yet their worlds no longer fit together like they used to. There is no fight to point to, no moment to blame. Only distance, settling in softly and painfully.

They promised forever. But some promises... aren't meant to survive growing up. Elhaan and Sanya were each other's whole world - from chalk-stained classrooms to handwritten notes, from innocent childhood laughter to silent teenage heartbreak. But college came with distance. And Miraal - bold, dazzling, unpredictable - changed everything. In the shadows stood Ishqaan, quiet and unnoticed, yet holding a love that was never meant to be returned. "The Promise We Broke" is a deeply emotional journey of growing up, letting go, and the kind of pain only broken friendships and silent love can bring. This is not a love story. This is the story of a promise - and everything it cost.

In a house that once echoed with laughter, a young girl now sits in silence, clutching a worn-out teddy bear-the only remnant of the warmth she once knew. Her brothers, once her protectors, have grown distant, their hearts hardened by resentment and unspoken pain. She longs to understand what shattered their bond, but the weight of their indifference crushes her spirit more than their harsh words ever could. Each night, she whispers into the fabric of her teddy bear, hoping it will carry her love to them. "I miss you... I love you." But the silence remains. A silence so heavy, it drowns her in loneliness. As the days pass, the gap between them widens. She wonders if love can truly disappear or if it simply fades into fragments-fragments of silence that can never be pieced together again.
