Between all the pain and confusion, he knew one thing for sure; he'd do anything to build a happy, safe future for her...because she was his tether, the reason he's still here, still trying, still fighting so hard for a better world so she wouldn't.

Welcome to the journey of Abi and Ashu. A slow-burn romance story about growing up, the innocence of school love, the struggles of long-distance, and the harsh realities of balancing ambition with a relationship. Before you dive in, here's a little about what you're about to read: 1. Based on a True Story This story is heavily inspired by actual events from my life. Because of this, the writing style is journalistic and slice-of-life; it may feel repetitive at times, but that's because real life doesn't always follow a perfect movie script. While the core emotions and events are true, some fictional elements have been added to stitch the narrative together smoothly. Also, the present-day portions are completely fictional. Some chapters will also feature simple illustrations to bring certain moments to life. 2. The POV System The story is told mostly from Ashu's point of view. You'll also notice some decimal chapters (like Chapter 5.5). These chapters are written from Abi's POV by my real-life girlfriend. These chapters retell moments from her perspective or include scenes Ashu never witnessed. 3. Language The story is set in a Tamil cultural context. Tamil dialogues are used to maintain emotional authenticity. English translations are provided. 4. A Small Disclaimer This is my first time writing a story. I've used AI tools to help with grammar and sentence structure, but the heart, emotions, and experiences are entirely my own. Please forgive any mistakes. I hope you enjoy living through our memories. Happy Reading!

The Boys on the Corner is the prequel book in a heartfelt Brooklyn trilogy that includes A Foot in the Door and Somewhere Between Old and New. In 1973, fifteen-year-old Gerry and his crew rule their corner-until three older guys arrive and everything changes. This is a work of fiction. Names, characters, businesses, places, events, locales, and incidents are either the products of the author's imagination or used in a fictitious manner. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental.

When Mirtille the house-elf leaves a dying baby on the doorstep of 12 Grimmauld Place, Remus and Sirius become fathers overnight to Regulus Black's daughter-a child so neglected she's forgotten how to cry. From a seven-month-old who weighs barely eleven pounds to a brilliant young woman navigating Hogwarts, first love, and eventually war, this is Andie's story: learning to trust, to love, to be loved in return. It's about two men who never planned to be parents becoming exactly what she needs. It's about Fred Weasley falling for a girl at eleven and waiting years for her to fall back. It's about feeding werewolves with magically-laced meat, surviving on chocolate-covered raisins, and finding home in the most coldest places. content notes: this fic contains themes of child neglect/abuse (past), recovery from malnutrition, brief mentions of attempted infanticide (past), war-related trauma, underage drinking/smoking (teen years), and detailed discussions of injury/healing.

She told herself that she can never give her heart to another man. In case he comes back, she wants him to know that her heart is still the same, devoted and waiting for him. . . Ga Yee has never forgotten her first love-the boy who tucked a sunflower leaf behind her ear and said, "I think you are the most beautiful sunset, lady. My day is incomplete without you," the boy who wrote to her of his hope that they live together one day in a house between hills, the boy who dreamt of flying like Icarus, the boy who promised that he will return. When she learns from a schoolmate during a reunion that the boy has been in a coma for five years, Ga Yee for the first time travels overseas to see him. Feelings that are soundless, a lea's song heard only by the still sunflowers, Ga Yee hums the tiny voice of a steadfast heart, one that will devote itself to a true love that only comes once in a hundred moons. But with the passing of time, what is the likelihood of a faithful heart changing?

This isn't a romance novel or a mystery thriller. It's simply a collection of my thoughts, late-night reflections, and the lessons life has taught me over the years. Some pages hold poems. Some carry memories. Some tell short stories inspired by my experiences, while others capture feelings I never knew how to say out loud. These are pieces of myself I never intended to share. Yet here they are-not for attention, but as a record of who I was, what I felt, and how I grew. Maybe these words will remain just my diary in public form. Or maybe, somewhere along the way, they'll find someone who needs them as much as I once did. Welcome to the pages I never meant to share.

They stop talking. Completely. Luke doesn't know what to say... And Heather can't stop thinking about him. Her songs? All about him. Her thoughts? Always finding their way back to him. Until she finally sucks it up and texts him. Not another paragraph telling him off. An apology. One that leads to confessions she never planned to make... ...and one Luke never expected to hear. Because somehow, they managed to do it all at the same time: Miss someone. Love them. And hate them. STARTED: 7/7/26 ENDED:

The ocean is sick. Esmé is sicker. And somewhere between dreams and waking, something is stealing crowns. Esmé is living with a severe bone condition that draws her life inward, while everything around her quietly unravels. Friends drift without goodbye. Her father returns after five years of silence, present but unreachable, as if distance has become a second language neither of them knows how to unlearn. In Pelagia, grief does not announce itself. It accumulates, like salt in the throat, like weather that refuses to pass. The Sea is spoken of as though it remembers, as though it keeps what the town cannot hold. Then Luna arrives with a wish. Not a cure, not a repair, but something that bends the edges of what is possible. Something that might change the Sea itself, though nothing in Pelagia comes without cost. And still, something is stealing crowns. A story about grief, growing up too fast, and learning how to love a world that might never be saved.

I thought I had found my forever. A little apartment. A little room. A little life that finally felt like mine. At 18 years old, I believed I was stepping into the future I had always hoped for. I had love, friendship, and a promise of everything getting better. Then one summer changed everything. When the people I trusted most became the people I had to let go of, I was forced to question everything I thought I knew about friendship, safety, love, and home. This book is a raw and honest reflection on what happens when the life you are building suddenly falls apart - and how you find the strength to rebuild from the pieces. It is a story about the friendships that shape us, the heartbreak that changes us, and the moments that teach us who we are. Because sometimes losing what you thought was home is how you discover where you truly belong.
