What if Harry Potter had been put into Slytherin while Draco Malfoy had been sorted into Gryffindor? Quick Oneshot I decided to write, and I have based it off the book more than the film.

Book One, but can be read as a stand alone Draco Malfoy had everything. The money, the name, any toys or clothes he wanted. Sure his parents were a little cold, but they were preparing him to be the next steel-faced Malfoy heir. When he is eleven he is sent off to Hogwarts. His parents have told him all about the wonders of Slytherin house, and how everyone for generations (except the Black defect - they don't mention him much) has been in that house. Draco is really excited to carry on that line. But then everything goes wrong. Pansy Parkinson had her life all planned out. Go to school, graduate, marry Draco, have children, be rich and fabulous, die a pureblood legend. She liked her future life. It seemed so simple, especially since she and Draco got along so well. Plus, he spoke French. She was debating asking him to move to France when they got married. Of course, then everything had to go wrong. Now, Pansy has to figure out how to tell a certain someone how they're going to die. And the girl's not even pretty!

Your whole life you believed you were muggle, but you knew you didn't belong. Few friends, your family despised you, until there's a knock at the door. Your a witch? Your whole life you've been living with these random people you used to call family, now it all changes, your going home. The storylines different from the Harry Potter series, and all characters belong to J.K Rowling ⚡️

Draco Malfoy always thought Harry was doing the wrong thing. He didn't accept his friendship, right? The only other answer for their relationship was to become sworn enemies, obviously. Everything culminates until their 8th year (a make up year for the Battle of Hogwarts survivors) and something changes ever so slightly.

Book 2 of Disowned ON PAUSE Draco Black has finally gotten used to life at the Burrow, even the chores. He's hoping for this year to be the year that everyone forgets about what happened. Of course, Cissa was born right after school got out and now Lucius' concubine is planning to get pregnant again, so everyone likes to shove that in his face. Plus, he's faced with the knowledge that his best friend has less than a decade to live, and someone is trying to kill off his other friends. Marvelous. Pansy Granger has decided that she likes living like a muggle, and she likes the nice routined life that she and Hermione have slipped into. What she does not like is the new threat to her mate. She does not like that at all. It's not like she actually cares about Hermione, but if Hermione died, so would she, so she has to be worried out of common sense. She also does not like the fact that Blaise is still being a total prat about her not telling him about her curse. Git. Ginny Weasley is thrilled to finally go to Hogwarts like her older brothers. She feels like she's finally a big kid. The only problem is, her new friend is claiming that they're going to die, and that's not something Ginny really wants to do. Then she starts getting really tired, and pale, and she can't tell why. She knew Hogwarts life was going to be different, but this is just too much. And why is Luna starting to be affected too?

Loyalty, In Draco Malfoy's case, is a fine line which teeters him between being a chauvinist or a traitor. Specifically, he's a traitor. --- A canon-divergence AU in which Draco gets a house change from Slytherin to Gryffindor in his fifth year at Hogwarts. I give a very brief and terrible explanation as to how that goes about. What starts off as 'my father will hear about this' turns into 'oh shit if my father hears about this' and antics ensue. After yeeting on Professor Umbridge, Draco then proceeds to piss off the entire house of Slytherin, co-found Dumbledore's Army, and become a Gryffindor Chaser. He also may or may not have betrayed his whole family, become a spy for the Order, killed a Horcrux, and snogged Harry Potter. You know, just the works. --- I tried to make it accurate to both the books and movies, however it's been a very long time since I sat down and properly read the books. Some information might not be 100% accurate, and a lot of the developments of characters and relationships are skewed due to the canon divergence.

He is forced into really horrific things because of his parents. I am going to attempt to write the character as though he was in Gryffindor House and how that would impact his decisions.
