The words of a boy who's mother was a normal woman and his father was a famous Devil Summoner of Kuzunoha fame. However, whether his fame blinded him or he left for their safety was unknown as he disappeared without a word. And then, the Heaven Faction descended on the Devil Summoners. The were ordered to abandon their use of demons, and refused. Thus, battle ensued. Even with the help of Demons, humans didn't stand a chance and most Summoners perished. But, so long as the phases of the moon change, Summoners will exist.

"I...I want to be strong." "Oh? You want to be big and buff like those super heroes on TV, huh?" "What? No way, Auntie! I want to break stones without even trying, lift cars over my head with one hand, and make mountains shake with a stomp." "You want all of that, but you don't want to be a hero? Why?" Gryphon Light was a normal student who was looked down on his most of his fellows, wishing to himself that he could become stronger until his entire class is taken to another world against their will. His opportunity came at a terrible cost.

Gryphon: Summer, how is this supposed to be entertaining? The greenish gold eyes of Gryphon Light stare blankly at Summer Rose, who sits opposite him with a recording camera and a book in hand. Summer: Aww come on, ever since you told me about your book of shorts I've been dying to see what kind of things have happened to you and alternate versions of yourself as well and, plus if I recorded it all they could make for an interesting movie or even written as another book. Gryphon: First of all its a Tome. She deadpans. Gryphon: And even I don't know about half of the stories in this book, for all i know it's just gonna be bits and pieces of things yet to happen along with stuff from my pasts. Summer: Exactly! Doesn't that excite you at least a little bit? Gryphon looks down at the book in his hands. Gryphon: We'll do a few of them and if I don't like where it's going I'll take the book back to the vault and locking it deep in the darkest part of it. Summer: YES! We can do this interview style where I read a bit and ask you questions. Gryphon: If that's how you wanna play this Sum. This story continues after the end of Fate/ Dark Matter. The Chaldea security organization is the last stand between the survival or destruction of the human race. Faces, old and new, join the fray with one standing out amongst them all

Gryphon Light... An old Guardian that's been around since the Traveller's first contact with humanity. Killed permanently once before, but resurrected by a compassionate Wish Dragon. There was a condition though, he was required to wield a weapon that would be an Ahamkara's natural enemy. Eventually his companion, the last Ahamkara Riven, gave him some of her bones to keep. He took it upon himself to fashion a weapon and a ghost shell from her bones. Fast forwarding some... When Oryx came to avenge his son, Gryphon was there. When Siva returned, Gryphon was there. For every major event in the galaxy, he was there. He learned things no Guardian ever should and connected to powerful forces from beyond the outer rim. After defeating the threat of Savathun, he discovered a traitor with the Guardian ranks and dealt with them. When he reported it to the Vanguard, they claimed it wasn't his right to kill that traitor and exiled him... But, after fighting for this long and killing who knows how many gods... He's not going out quietly...

A Leviathan. Perhaps the images that come to mind when thinking about a Leviathan are mysterious colossal Monsters that hide in the deepest parts of the ocean. However, a Leviathan can be described as a powerful opposing force. A monster that forces individuals to unite against it.
