Follow a soon-to-be-teenager named Joseph M. Ellis on a long journey through an unforgiving world of monsters conjured and forged by a virus known as the ABYSS. A virus spreading in Guam, in the late year of 2019, in which it turns each host into a different cruel beast of unknown power and limitations each time it will contaminate someone. Where Joseph soon and quickly learns that 6th grade middle school and math are very quickly not the only hell in this world. As he, and other survivors have to stick together or fend for themselves in unforgiving and even cruel ways just to live and survive in this nightmare of a world. As Joseph and other survivors soon learn that there is no other place of salvation they can stay, as the virus spreads quickly throughout the world. As it soon takes over continents like Nothern America, Southern America, Asia, Australia, Africa, Europe, and even small forgotten Islands within a mere month. As survivors have to create new needs like medical supplies, food, water, weapons, and even ammunition. The question is... Will Joseph soon lose his sanity by each day and month that passes by, to the point where he hurts himself and other innocent survivors? Will this world and people soon drive to insanity and become as cruel and ruthless as the infected themselves? Will Joseph have to survive with others by opening his trust to other people and groups to survive, with the pain and risk of being betrayed and possibly killed, or will he decide to trust no one and fend for himself, but have to sleep with one eye open every night and risk being killed with no one to protect him behind his back? Will there ever be a cure, vaccine, or full on extinction for this virus? Only you as the reader will learn that for yourselves the more you progress with the journey of Joseph and other survivors.
