When Detective Cohen Blaine can't find any leads from the few he questioned; he decides to split up his team and investigate a good more of people in her life. EJ's family is so grateful that Detective Blaine has taken such interest in their daughter's case, but they wonder why he IS so interested. Does he know something? Has he met EJ before? Does he relate to the family? What could it be? As the questioning goes on, the more and more Detective Blaine wishes that he hadn't made such a commitment to this case. Instead of questioning it becomes pure interrogation.

Kelly and Ben have been inseparable through thick and thin. A tragedy occurs that is splitting them apart. Is love worth fighting for? ~~~ Hello everyone! Just POEMS

After making a rather impulse decision to move to Toowoomba, a large town outside of Queensland after being emancipated, Avery is determined to start fresh. A new house, a new school, new friends and new experiences that will mould her into the woman she wants so badly to be.  But there was a large bump in the road.  And that bump came in the form of Colton Slayer, the sweet boy that every girl wants to date, the boy that makes Avery's heart flutter like a butterfly caught in the web of her rib cage. After catching the eye of Colton, he is set on getting her attention, the same way she has with him. But it will be very difficult, especially when Avery's past comes back to haunt her, determined to make her miserable, tearing open an old wound that will bleed out all of the hidden secrets and emotions that Avery has so desperately tried to bury. Along the way she will make friends and enemies, be both happy and sad, creating memories that she will cherish and other she wish never happened. Avery will look towards her future while simultaneously trying to forget her past. Read and find out the past and secrets that form the person she is now, and who she will become.

I'd prefer to be alone in a world where love is the answer. But, seeing you inhale and exhale makes me feel alive. Your eyelashes flickering as you blink, your ears twitching as you unconsciously feel nervous. I should have tried harder to become the person you thought I was.
