Waking up in his own room should have been enough to make the morning feel normal. The same walls surrounded him, the same palace continued its life outside, and nothing seemed different enough to make him question where he was. Until the reflection looking back at him wasn't his. Prince Jeongin. There was no explanation for why he was wearing his face, no memory that could tell him what had happened or where the prince could be. With two royal families under the same roof and no way of knowing who he could trust, pretending quickly became the safest choice. If everyone saw Jeongin when they looked at him, then Jeongin was who he would have to be. But the longer he stayed in the prince's life, the stranger his own mind became. Memories he shouldn't have appeared without warning, gestures came before he could think about them, and familiar people started to feel different from behind someone else's eyes. Especially Felix. The prince he had spent years protecting was still the same, yet the place between them wasn't. Every word had to be chosen differently, every familiar gesture suddenly meant something else, while neither of them truly understood what was changing. He only needed to understand what happened, find the missing prince and find a way back to himself. Nobody ever thinks of the palace guards. The ones standing around the castle, ready to protect all those in it. Nikkol just happens to be one of these guards, and finds himself sick of standing there waiting for something to happen. Until something does. Something that poses a threat to nobody but Nikkol himself. The threats name: Prince Setial.
