2 weeks after her 16th birthday, Melissa is in a horrific accident and sustains a life altering injury. She is forced to face discrimination from many as she attempts to integrate back into society. From Crown City Rehab, to shopping at her favourite store in the mall, and even from her own family, Melissa faces disappointment. That all changes at one of her rehab sessions.

If a wanderer were to cross the path of a man with one sole purpose, would the wanderer have found his own? If a man without fear were to cross the path of a man born from fear and devastation, would he have found his phobia? If a beast were to hold the hand of man, and swallow his pride, would something more great, more powerful, be born from the ashes in their wake? If one were to gouge out the eyes of the prophet, would they be as doomed as a man with a death wish?

Her world was formed through swells of insight. The constant hum of the world around her was emphasized by the infrequent physical reinforcements of location. She relied on her memory to help navigate her world now, for seeing a layout only once helps immensely in navigation. At least that's what she was telling herself now. And, she had been all over the village before she was blind. -- This is a re-write of a VERY old FF that I started with inspiration from Toph. It had ended up being a Mary-sue mess with so many ideas thrown in it - each installment felt like a totally new story. I am now attempting to make it more uniform. Here's to hoping. I DO NOT own anything.

The dog who didn't like his master is a light hearted, humorous dystopia about Ben, a Labrador who does not want to become a guide dog for the visually impaired and decides to run away from his training school with the help of a scheming cat named Pistachio. Set in the war torn northern town of Lambed, the novel follows Ben's adventures and his misguided conversion to the feline cause. Ben embarks on a voyage of love, betrayal and redemption which will not leave him unscathed. A tall tale/tail indeed in which the animals have become decidedly human in their quest for power and domination. With the help of Ben, a fascistic Catiphate is born but will there be room for him once Pistachio has asserted himself as its absolute ruler? To be sure this is an old tale but one with a modern twist coloured by current events on the world scene.

On Monday 9th May 2022, I started to sponsor a Guide Dog for the Blind named Margo. Three puppies are always available for sponsorship on the Guide Dogs Website in the UK. I will be documenting Margo's journey from sponsorship to becoming a fully-fledged Guide Dog. Please note that there is a chance that Margo could be career-changed at any point along the way and that means that Margo will be unsuitable for a blind or visually impaired person.
