Guinevere, didn't want to get married to Gusion. So she ran away, in hopes of escaping her planned future. Guinevere encountered a demon, and just when she thought she was going to die, someone saved her, the one and only Granger. He offered to hide her, but he realized that they met before... as friends. But since they're older, that friendship may or may not turn into something more... (Please don't start ship wars, i respect all ships, whether you're a Grangley or Gugu shipper.) Due to these laws, King Uther has requested that Merlin must become the servant of Prince Arthur. He faces life threatening challenges, new friends, new love, new hopes, and new strength. Merlin could only sit in waiting no matter what he did even if meaned that he was put in harm's way. This time it was not a stab to the side or a cut but an emotional bruise to his heart that Arthur himself afflicted. The one thing that made it ache all that more was hiding himself in more than one way not being able to show anyone even Gaius.
