After all the events during The Vacation- Trouble In Paradise, a year has passed and The Watterson family has only grown closer. Gumball is watching his children grow up so fast, and in the space of a year, his children, Tristan and Penelope, have grown so much. He still has his loving wife by his side, he and his brother Darwin have grown closer over the events last two years, and as a result, both of their children now have close bonds to their uncles. Meanwhile, Anais is coming home to Elmore at last after spending 6 months away conducting her research for whatever it was she does (no one else in the family really understands!) and a some time with all the family together will be just what she needs after being gone so long. Now another Christmas is on the horizon, and, not that anyone knows it, but it will be one to remember... This is a tribute story to @SpartaofGreece who is the author of my favourite TAWOG fanfic series "The Vacation" and I wanted to make this as a small Christmas special (and if Sparta wants to use it as a prequel for The Vacation 3 if a third one comes out, then feel free!) One fateful night, Gumball vanishes without a trace. No Messages. Just Gone. After hopeless searches, the town of Elmore moves on quickly... But Darwin can't. Now he must take the lead in finding who took his brother; he teams up with Anais, Penny, and Carrie to uncover the truth behind his brother's disappearance and bring him home.

This is a fanmade novel series based on The Amazing World of Gumball, created as a divergent reality from the original show. It explores similar events - like the Void Conflict (TAWOG S4) - in a different time setting which is a few years ahead from the original continuum. Now featuring a different main antagonist, affecting the multiverse differently. Some chapters are also based on episodes from the original canon, because again, it's a Divergent Timeline. The story is spread across six book series projected to be over 312 chapters, mimicking the show's episodic pacing, with some connected plots. Also including a book series basing off season 7 (TWWWOG), which... Basically sums it up to 7 book series. All characters are humanized in a 2.5D/Anime-inspired style, with original, non-canon, and fanon characters introduced (some of which are speculated). The setting is in the 2014-2016 period and includes references / cameos to various media that may be ahead of its time. Floating timeline isn't applied to TDWOG anymore, which also means that young characters-Gumball, Darwin, and other peers have now aged up to 13-16 years old, amplifying their Gen-Z coded personalities. The novel is R16+ (violence, language), though ages 14 - 15 may still find it suitable, just... With a little bit of guidance though. Regarding the non-canon / fanon characters introduced, an additional member of the Wattersons added - Clark Watterson. Description: will be featured in the first chapter.

My TAWOG headcanons that are totally wholesome and not sad.

I never live, and yet I must watch someone else's life and guide them. Do I wish to leave and gain some sort of freedom? To have choices, consequences, and experiences that are my own? Would I crumble from the weight of existing as an individual or can I persist with a life of my own? I don't know if the time will ever come, but I'll be ready with my Ticket to Life.
