How does the Vampire King, who has a dead heart, find his heart beating in the rhythm of the Prince's touch? Are they able to find the same beat and be together even when all the eyes are on them? This is a fanfic told in Marshall's point of view. They are humans with their own powers still. For example Cake has cat ears and a tail but looks like a human still. Gumball is a little worried about the weird things going on in the kingdom, creatures breaking in, candy people reporting weird figures on the streets, the gumball guardians activating even though no threat is visible. Pepps tells him there's nothing to worry about but he still can't get it out of his head. So he goes to one of the people he can trust the most, Marshall lee, for some help to solve what's really going on.

Marshall has another argument with his mother, Gumball is cold an can't sleep. What happens when Marshall stumbles into Gumball's room? No smut or angst, just cute fluff.

Gumball moves into a new town,filled with new bullies, and and new friends. Gum can't wait for the future learning in his new school until he realizes he has a lot to learn and that flirty bully doesn't help. Marshall has been going to the same school district for 3yrs now is B-O-A-R-D, BOARD! Thankfully a new, more intreresting student is enrolling in his school but the little nerd is more interesting than expected... and Marshall Lee has some stuff to learn himself.

I don't know why. She probably just got tired of me and didn't want me anymore. Maybe she just wasn't ready to be a mom? Or maybe she had financial problem like I do now? Or most likely because I was born quirkless in a quirked world. That's probably it, if I'm honest. Anyway, I got adopted by my new family who had cat quirks. But that wasn't true. They were actually quirked animals who pretended to be humans! I have my stepsister, Cake, whom I always thought we were ment to be together as siblings. She's the best. Her quirk makes her stretch in any shape she wants. Kinda reminds me of cartoons I used to watch. My parents? They were lovely people! But, they're dead now. Cake and I gotta work our butts off just to get by. Not to mention the amount of jobs I went through... Sometimes, I just wish I could just... I dunno- fly and be free! Or be a hero! Save and help people! While getting paid of course. But I can't exactly do that without a quirk. That's a death sentence. But I'm curious... if I could get a quirk.. how different would my life be?
