Only time will tell... - Spoilers for Ori and the Blind Forest / Will of the Wisps AND Ori and the Spirits Within (obviously) - I do not own any of the Ori characters or locations, who belong to Moon Studios and them alone. - You may have noticed the tag "canondivergence" on this story. I'll let that speak for itself. - Although thought was put into these stories (unlike the actual story where I mostly just winged it), some short stories may have different levels of emotion/plot in them than others. Some may be happy stories, some may have sad parts. Some may have emotional tension, and others may just be dumb and goofy stories. Some are light-hearted, and some can be kind of dark. Just be warned that these stories are slightly varied in their tones and relevance to overarching plot lines. - As of writing this description, at least one of these stories deal with a topic that may/may not be sensitive to particular readers. While it can make people feel uncomfortable, stories like these need to be expressed for many reasons. If reading some of these stories offends you and what you believe in, you are free to express it... but don't attack myself or other readers because of it. The Willow Tree's bright blue leaves shimmered and swayed in the peaceful breeze. It's bark croaked as a storm riled up in the distance. A soft, silver leaf fell off the brown tree and flew down at rapid speeds. Landing on a log, it took form of a small, fragile spirit. Its black eyes slowly rolled open as it took a breath. We all remember, when Ori saved his friends from catastrophe, giving a new start to life, a new era was about to begin. So much time had passed since then, Ori was the new Spirit Tree of Niwen, bringing peace and tranquility to the forest. In a place on Earth, a boy named Matthew Anderson began his vacation after finishing his studies with good grades, he had his brother Jhonny and his parents Elizabeth and Justin. Fate had prepared a change in his life, in a night he would never forget. She would wake up in an unknown world, where everything seemed like a fantasy tale, where she would meet strange beings, abominable creatures and a guide that would help her on her way to peace. ⚠️ Warning: I am not the owner of the original characters of the Ori saga, nor of their locations, everything belongs to the independent developer Moon Studios.

"I want to see you." was what Gumi keeps thinking as she sends texts to Gumiya who went off to fight in a war. Leaving her all alone back home in Japan. Will her wish to see him again come true? Or will they not be answered? Based off of the vocaloid song Aitai.

A young man in his late teens goes on a vacation with his family for the winter, only for things to go horribly wrong, resulting in him being separated from his family and getting stranded in an unknown land. One with dangers he's never seen before, creatures with abilities he's never once observed, but most of all, finding a creature just as lost and alone as himself. Not one to leave an intelligent being alone in such a dangerous place, he helps the glowing white creature, and they work together to fix the land that was blinded days before the human's arrival. Will they succeed in bringing life back to the mysterious island... or will the human's inexperience in such concepts end everything in sight? Find out for yourself... enjoy!

This is a fanfiction, but you don't have to know the game to enjoy the story. Comment on anything in particular you find interesting or want to know more about and I will try to elaborate further. This story will also be based off the definitive edition of the game, but like I said before, you don't have to know the game at all to enjoy the story. Waking up in a different body, in a different world, with different abilities, is not something, H, dreamed of nor really wanted in the first place. After throwing a paralysed pedestrian out of the way of a tumbling car, H, himself was struck by an almost fatal blow that would soon take his life if something wasn't done. But something was keeping him alive, but what, was a question that no-one has the answer to. H's, friends are well aware of this, and would much rather go head to head with the underworlds leading hunter organisation then sit tight and hope for the best. So with only a staff, a sword, and a set of daggers, and three backpacks, their journey begins. Warning: If you think I'd be holding back in the swearing, well let me tell ya something. No... This will contain strong language with no restraint. You have been warned. And another heads up. I will be making big changes to how the story played out in the games. And some changes around the story to make it writable; more like adding in my own parts, or taking them out entirely and remaking them in my eyes.
