Controlled by fear, the humans did what Helios had asked of them and sacrificed the monarchs and their loyal servants turning them into creatures who needed human blood to survive. As the monarchs refused to turn on the humans, their former servants grew bitter. The six had to defeat them in ten years of war, protecting the prophetic child to restore peace.
