Persephone Sims was like any other normal kid, quirky, awkward, and energetic. She never thought she would be chosen for better things other than sports, much less to become a Griffin Rider, or 'Valkyrie'. Turns out she is the descendant of an ancient clan of women who fought alongside trolls, yes trolls, and rode majestic griffins. Well after the battle of Killahead, it was made clear that the Valkyrie and their griffins were going extinct. Persephone is one of the last descendants of the few Valkyrie and has been chosen by Phobos, the last griffin. Suiting isn't it?

I have always wondered what would have happened differently if Gunmar had taken Jim's soul when he had first tried to in the Darklands....

It's not easy living two lives at once. Especially when they're both completely different. Because who knew that Trolls and magic could exist? Y/N L/N gets a magic necklace, that was now passed on to her. But what she didn't expect from it was a sacred responsibility, that chooses her for the next champion to weld the power, to become a sorceress. Willow Lopez is Toby's adopted sister. She used to live in an unhealthy environment with neglective parents and would eat leftovers. After Toby's Nana heard about this, she took Willow in and made sure she was loved and cared for. She forever cherishes her friendships with her friends and will do anything for them. Roka WIndward is a sorceress that lives with trolls for nine centuries under Vendel's care. He trained her to control her magic and fight without magic. She now goes to school in Arcadia Oaks High and made close friends with Jim Lake Jr., Toby Domzalski, and Willow Lopez. She promises to protect Arcadia along with the Trollhunter and stop Bular once and for all. She also hopes that one day she'll reunite with her long-lost friend.

They have lived in the depths of the Darklands since the beginning of time itself. But when Gunmar and his armies were sentenced to the Darklands, the Dark Elves knew that there was another world above them. Gunmar told the elves about the world above their heads, and they all immediately wanted to go there themselves, but that was impossible because the bridge was closed. That is, until Bular and the changelings opened it for a short period of time. And in that short timeframe, you managed to escape the Darklands.
