But when she stumbles across a box of old "Star-Lord stuff" hidden away-mixtapes, a busted helmet, and a communicator-her curiosity blows up. After hacking into the communicator (and accidentally sending a beacon into space), the Guardians show up on Earth with Peter in tow. When she finds out her dad is Star-Lord, the leader of an intergalactic misfit family, Lisa refuses to stay behind on boring old Earth. She sneaks onto the Milano with nothing but her guitar, a backpack full of tacos, and way too much attitude. During a mission gone wrong, Lisa accidentally discovers her guitar can channel alien tech frequencies-turning it into a sonic weapon. This, plus her quick thinking and raw determination, convinces the Guardians to (reluctantly) let her tag along. Peter wants to protect her, but Lisa insists on proving she's more than "Star-Lord's kid"-she's Red Star, the next Guardian of the galaxy ☆
