Mattholomule had a crush on Bria, but she paid him no attention. He was upset about that, and he tried to think of ways to make her notice him. And then he thought about pretending to date someone to make Bria jealous, so he asks Gus.

Gus, Luz, Amity, Hunter and Willow are a group of misfits strung together by the chaotic events of Hexside School. It's been just them in their little circle for the past few years of school, but when ex-itboy Mattholomule transfers from Glandus High to Hexside, rumours are flying around the school. Good and Bad. But what happens once he realizes he likes Gus?

When one day an accident at hexside causes him to run off into the woods, he stumbles upon an almost empty lake and somehow gets transported to the human realm with no way home. He now has to navigate through the world he always wanted to see alongside drama queen and wanna-be actor Adrian Graye and Emmiline, a little friendly chameleon. Between trying not to get caught as a witch in this non-magical world and finding a way home, he finds himself in a lot of trouble and makes friends along the way. Either way, this is going to be a wild ride. Or basically a reverse swap au with Gus as the protagonist going to the human realm with the most of the cast being human.
