After being dragged around for twelve days of Trollsmas, Branch is being dragged to go to a huge party which he is trying to convince Poppy not to hold it. Will Poppy cancel her New Years Party for Branch or will she ignore him.

Since the Trolls taught the Bergens how they get happiness, they discovered that they don't have a holiday. Every year the Bergens celebrated Trollstice. But this holiday has ended and they did nothing every year. Poppy, Branch, Rose, and the Snack Pack decided to help the Bergens get a new holiday. After the banished chef of Bergans captures trolls during a celebration, princess poppy, branch and Willow set out on a mission to rescue their friends. The trio are back as they embark on another journey to stop queen barb from gathering all the strings to destroy all other genres of music and bringing them under her rule. After the event of uniting all the different tribes of trolls, a new adventure begins for our three trolls when a Bergan wedding is interrupted by a troll neither branch nor Willow ever thought they would see again.

Poppy's Reign As Queen And Z's Job As Poppy's Royal Protector Is Put To The Test Then Their Home Faces A New Threat In The Form Of Barb, Queen Of The Rock Trolls. The New Discovery Soon Leads Poppy And Z And Their Friends To Find That There Are Other Kinds Of Trolls In The World, Each Defined By A String That Represents Their Type of Music. When Barb Plans To Take The Strings And Destroy All Types Of Music, The Clock Is Against Poppy, Branch, Z And The Gang To Unite The Trolls Kingdoms And Get Them Working Together To Help Defeat Her.
