This is a short story that I wrote for a creative writing competition at my school. It had to be less then 1000 words, so sorry it isn't very long.

Everything happened too quickly. One moment you're being held hostage in your school. Then suddenly all of the captors get murdered. The next moment, you're at the police station, being interrogated. You see the murderer's mask on a picture. A black and red Guy Fawkes Mask. But there's something nobody else knows except you. He wore the same uniform as you. He goes to the same school as you. And not just that, but he knows who you are, too.

Before Evey, before Larkhill, there was a woman who knew the man in Room Five. She even dared to say she loved him. And he loved her too. Her name, was Mary. But when he underwent the experiment at Larkhill, he forgot his entire past, except for the memory of soft green eyes. He kept this to himself, however. And only one doctor at the Larkhill Detention Facility has matched those eyes: Dr. Kelly. Five years after the incidental explosion of the Larkhill Detention Center, the man from Room Five takes on the alias "V" in search to find the truth behind the memory that stuck with him. Mary lives in hiding, for the governmental power Norsefire had wanted anything affiliated with Larkhill and its inhabitants destroyed. But she will find her beloved man from Room Five once again. Robert had spent months preparing for this. Finally in the heat of the festival the time had come to burn the world down.

On November the 5th, the world was reborn. Masked vigilante terrorist V gave his life to save England from a fascist government regime. In his death, the world was made new again, its people freed from tyranny. But what if he had lived? This is an alternate ending to the movie V for Vendetta showcasing how V and Evey will move forward in this new world. I in no way have any rights to the movie or it's script, I just have adored it since I was a child and was inspired to continue V's story. Updates every Monday and Thursday.
