One is a jerk well known -- and hated -- by the District 5 team. The other is a steadfast girl, kind, but still a Hawk, an enemy in the Ducks' eyes. ・゜゜・． Willow Pearson is a Hawk who is deeply passionate about playing hockey; however, she isn't necessarily welcomed by the Coach, nor the players, on her team. Willow lives in Diana, Minnesota; she's childhood friends with her neighbor, Adam Banks. Adam is her only friend on the Hawks; at least, the only one who tolerates her. If anyone ever asked her, Willow would tell them that she would have rather been on any other team. She walked in and her eye first caught a blonde boy, wearing a duck jersey with the number 00 on the back. She forgot everything about Cameron back home and kept her attention to the blondie. "Everyone freeze" and Coach Bombay blew the whistle. He used hand signals to Avery, alerting her to come over. "Everyone, this is Avery McGill and she's going to be in our team for the rest of the year since one of the new members quit last minute. Please be kind and welcome her" he said. She knew that this was it. Her big chance to prove to everyone that she's not just a "geek". Although, she also had a feeling that this was not going to be as fun as she hoped it was.

Taylor Shields, Luis Mendoza and Dean Portman have recently stopped playing for the JV team. Coach Bombay was the coach again and these three didn't like that he wanted to play everything different. Coach Wilson heard about the three of them quiting, and it didn't take him long to ask them to join the Varsity team. Along the way, Taylor gets bullied by one of the guys who she played with on the JV team. Dean and Luis both have been protective big time once they find out. Her bully, finds out something about her past and he is dying to tell her a little something something about it. That's when everything gets interesting and a whole bunch of different things change.

At Eden hall, Scooter was extremely popular, being a jock and all. For some reason everyone loved jocks. Now..that never made sense to Tarynn Holland. Tarynn was Scooters younger sister. She saw how much of a jerk her brother was so she ended up with a hatred for all jocks. She was also heartbroken by a jock, so she was held a grudge for that reason, but when the ducks come town she meets Guy Germaine, maybe he can soften her touch and change her mind about jocks. Tarynn had two rules going into all of this, don't fall in love, and if you do, don't fall for a jock.
