Merlin thought he was doing the right thing. He thought telling Arthur that magic had no place in Camelot he'd be able to save his friend. When he sees the mistake he made, he leaves Camelot. Unable to handle the burden of the fate he'd condemned his friends to endure. Arthur, Gwen, Gaius, and the Knights of the Round Table seek out the Druids to find out everything they can about Merlin and his magic in hopes they can find their friend and bring him home. (Merlin left letters behind explaining why he had to leave.
