He was a 'new kid' at least to this school, he attended a different school, far away from Denver, with his mom and his twin, but when he was 14 his sister moved away leaving him with his mom, luckily he had always preferred being with his mom. They got close and spent time together. But one late June night as vance's mom left for a breather (Vance and her had gotten into a large disagreement, leading to him storming out to his friends house.)
