✦︎ Nexilis (Latin) ✦︎ Woven together; intertwined In 1966, a misunderstanding led to social services to be called regarding possible child neglect by the Curtis parents. Their children, 7 year old Darry, 3 year old Sodapop, and one year old Pony, were taken and placed in the custody of a foster family. For a month the family stayed separated, until the parents were finally able to clear up the misunderstanding and have their children return home. Darry and Sodapop were returned, but the youngest Curtis vanished.
