Book Two of the Lady of the Blade series. Merlin and Ava has limited who knows about them. After defeatin Nimueh, they thought it was over. If only they knew how wrong they were. In addition to before, Uther requests the young lady to be more like a lady of the court. Meaning less honing her talents and more learning to be a political power. Can she handle it or will she crumble?

Ava returns home after the alliance is fortified. She must face the pain she left behind to be there for the kingdom.
