Wrong. Since very little proper inspections were done, not one single person knew about the man in the woods up until the first kill. Now they were all stuck on an island with a murderer. Once the kill had been discovered, with no hope, no help, and nobody else. The host fled from the island with his crew out and disappeared from the media forever.
