Yes, Tom's methods were perhaps too harsh in getting where we has to go, and that had pushed most to blindly side with the Light regardless of their magical affinities sometimes even. But Harry held the power to change everything. I had to believe it. But for me, for this world, this timeline, nothing could be done. I would never know the new timeline, the ripples and effects, if this was all in vain. Perhaps, if things hadn't been so bad here, my other self would have found a way to communicate with me through my magic and I would've known. None of us would live to find out.
