the lines that divide what he and habit are have been blurred beyond comprehension. vinnie knows that habit likes to fuck with him, just for fun. to dig under his skin and make playful little jabs that won't really hurt vinnie, but irritate him, or get him laughing along. he's become alarmingly proficient in brightening vinnie's spirits, and he supposes that was inevitable considering how long they've spent in such close quarters, but it doesn't make him any more comfortable with the idea that this monster of his has just decided that vinnie is someone worth cheering up. he won't pretend like he hates it, but he doesn't know if he likes it, either.

[ON HOLD] I still remember the day he asked me. It was so casual, with absolutely no feeling or intention behind it. That's the way I liked it. It reminded me of him; laid back and carefree. I was scared at first. I thought he was going to hurt me. I thought it was just a trick to get me on his good side. After five months, I'm still not sure. As much as I want to, I can't trust him. Sure, he's really kind and caring when he wants to be, but is that all part of the trick? I don't know what to believe anymore.

Most people think its easier to be mean then nice. Their wrong. Being mean takes some serious skill. And I'm always right. Plus. No one would have the gut to prove me wrong.
