Alice in Wonderland x Twisted Wonderland AU Basically: Alice in Wonderland/ Through the Looking-Glass × Bibliomania-inspired plot × Habromania-inspired system This AU's plot and worldbuilding are inspired by a lot of things, including Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass by Lewis Carroll, Twisted Wonderland, The Amazing Digital Circus, Jabberwocky, Tokyo Debunker, Alice Human Sacrifice, and, yes, ✨my own ideas✨. That said, the core structure mainly pulls from three sources: Alice in Wonderland, Habromania, and Bibliomania. Quick note: Habromania isn't officially out yet, so I'm only using elements shown in the demo playthrough. Anything beyond that is me extrapolating and probably overthinking. Author's note: I am absolutely not admitting that I watched over twenty different Mickey Mouse videos just to figure out how to describe his voice for two fucking lines. Only to realize it's kind of... rubbery. Like his shoes. Anyway. Habromania: (n) Delusions of happiness Andrew returns home from Rio, to discover that his hometown isn't as happy as it used to be. This story contains some dialogue in Portuguese and Maori, as I wanted to have a more diverse set of characters. I do display a translation of everything said at the end of each chapter.
