"Deal." If only I knew what that one tiny little word would do to me merely four months later. Not once did I think that one word would change my view on life, the way it did. Confused? I thought so. The story I am about to tell you is my own. Not hers. Not theirs. Mine. Well and his. It all started on my first day of my senior year. -Four months ago- I walked into school with a spring in my step, running to my best friend's locker. I was awaiting my assignment. Ah, yes the assignment. My friend and I have made a tradition called the assignment. Every school year on the first day my friend and I give each other a task we have to complete. It's more like a dare. A dare in which we can't refuse. I was ready, with a assignment for her in mind, to make this the assignment of all assignments. Until that is, she gave me mine. She ran to me with a smile beaming on her face. "Got my assignment?" She asked. "Depends you got mine?" After finally sobering up we exchanged pieces of paper. Because, she thought of the idea of assignments, she opened hers first. Her face lit up immediately. "It won't be easy but it's able to be done!!!" She laughed. Her assignment was to take April and her minions down. April is the queen bee who not only bullied us all year but also, made up the rumour that Casey killed her Brother Aaron, but that's a different story for a different time. Now it was my turn. We promised to give each other harder ones for our senior year, so I have no idea what to suspect. I opened it and was shocked. This particular dare was the hardest most unachievable thing that I could have been given. Make Haden fall in love with you. Haden, the hottest guy in our grade. That was impossible! Because he isn't the normal hottie of the class, he was untouchable. He kept himself in his own world. He wasn't bad. He was just cut off. He didn't want friends, he didn't need anyone. He was independent. He was Haden.
