A girl's break up letter to her boyfriend

meet alysha. the popular girl. the pretty girl. the rich girl. the cool girl. the girl who every guy wants to be with. the happy girl. the girl who every girl wants to be. but the truth is alysha's none of that, its just an act to hide her, deepest,darkest secrets, which she keeps to herself. Alysha is repeated abused by her drunken, ugly, rich father since her mother died, she gets all the blame for everything. shes been, battered, raped, beaten and abused in everyway. shes scared, useless and alone, according to herself. when her father dies, she gets adopted by a foster family, and her new foster brother (matt) falls in love with her, but will she fall in love with him? will she open up to him?

I wrote this a couple of years ago, and yes, again, it is poetry.

"Lie to me again" She whispers "I love you" he said. _______ "Rose! I love you!" His eyes were ice cold. His body stiff. No emotion showed through his posture or his voice. "Lie to me again" I whisper. His body glides across the floor, he soon overs over me. His hand comes up and smacks me. "You do not talk to me like that!" He screams in my face. My face wet from the tears, my lip quivering. I lifted my chin up. "I've had enough!" I scream.
