Jack is in a heavy metal band in high school, but nobody knows their band. When they do their first performance only one person showed up. Little did they know that one person would be the start of their entire career. Mark helps their band become famous, and a relationship blossoms between Mark and Jack. When a fight breaks out in class between the 6 they are all forced to work together to create a project on the History of Demons and Angels to present to the entire school at the end of the month as punishment. But what happens when Jack and Mark realize their hate for each other is really the exact opposite? (NO SMUT)

After months of guiding the mission, he begins to fall for the captain, Mark Fischbach. Jack is living under horrible circumstances, but Felix keeps the wool pulled over his eyes with promises of protection from others. Mark lives in a frat house with some of the most intimidating guys on campus, but in reality, they're all goofy gamer guys that just so happen to love heavy metal and piercings. Jack and Mark met one day in July during a heavy metal concert; not under the best circumstances, but it sends them both into a spell of quixotry that will last for the rest of their lives. (WARNING - this book discusses sensitive topics such as: Physical abuse, sexual abuse, emotional abuse, substance abuse (drugs, alcohol, and cigarettes), severe anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.)

Jack is almost perfect. He is strong, brave, and fights giant monsters and dragons to protect his people. Girls swoon over him, and Princess Desiree desires to marry him and make him the Prince of the Aldric Kingdom. He lives almost a perfect life. Well, except for one thing. Jack is a character in a video game. He has no control over his life or his actions, and he has to monotonously obey every command given to him from the one on the other side of the screen. When Jack begins to fall for the Controller behind the TV, he realizes he must break the rules of the game to find his true Happily Ever After.

"Jack, what word would you use to describe our relationship?" Jack paused, thinking about his misfortunate life prior to the happy accident of meeting Mark. A grin spread across his face as he found the perfect word. "Serendipity."

~COMPLETED~ Jack has found out Mark's biggest secret. Mark is terrified; his secret is in the hands of his biggest enemy, or rather, his biggest crush. Jack makes an offer. A special favor, and he won't tell the school his secret. Thing is, Mark doesn't know what this favor is going to be. It could be easy, or knowing Jack, it could be a terrifying experience. Mark has one month to decide; risk the favor and no one know his secret, or deny the offer and everyone finds out. Mark is trapped. And it is the biggest boy trap of all time.
