My very first Fanfic. I'm a massive fan of Haiji and Kakeru from Run with the Wind, and wanted to create some of my own works for them since I feel like they don't get quite enough love. I'm planning on writing short stories that would go in between episodes, this is my first. (I am also a bit too lazy to draw my own covers right now. I'm very sorry)

A 3rd year Health Science's student who enrolled in Kansei University have living her normal life quite the same every day. She is satisfy with how she live but there is no spark. She yearn an exciting life. Busying herself with study to forget that feeling, she realized its futile. Hence, she try to do something that she once do. Morning jog. A simple routine but can change her life. A fateful meeting tied by a red string of fate. Will the string strong enough to hold their relationship? Can she break the wall confining herself to accept him? Or can he pull her from her own cage? Only with a simple sentence but truly from heart, can Haiji Kiyose who once lost his will bring spark to (Y/N) (L/N)? "Run with ME!"

With Haiji Kiyose in his final year of University, it's his last chance to run in the Hakone Ekiden. Luckily, it doesn't take him too long to convince the other nine occupants of Aotake to participate and training is quickly under way. What he doesn't expect, is to run into an old friend he thought he'd never see again. Chiyo is struggling under the pressure of her father but Haiji takes her in, in hopes of bringing her back to her old self. So when old feelings arise, Haiji has to deal with helping out an old friend and completing his dream at the finish line. But is a dream really that simple?
