Akira Yoshiteru is a 16 year old highschool female who has unending passion for volleyball. Throughout her childhood, her family in the Japanese side neglects here because of her ability to wield both left and right hands. The older members of the family say she's cursed and she must not have been born. However her mother's family strongly disagrees. At the age of 8, she started to find her love for volleyball after she tried to play with her older cousins who were also volleyball players. When she started junior high, she decided to play for the girls volleyball team, and her recognition had scouts go crazy for her. Not only is she tall for her age, but her ability to spike using both hands is what makes her very special. After finishing junior high, most of the scouts that offered her scholarships, she turned them down. She told them there was only one place, one highschool she would like to attend and that is Karasuno highschool. She then proves to her Japanese family that her ability to wield both her left and right hands is not a curse, but is a blessing, for she had found something she is good at. Throughout her journey with the girls team in karasuno, she then finds a bond between her and the boys of karasuno highschool volleyball club, there she meets Tsukishima Kei, the saltiest member of the team. Incompatible as you call it, will the salty attitude of Tsukishima annoy Akira too much? or will she be able to cope up with him and see something more behind his salty attitude.

With a close of a door to a never used room with light green walls and a bed in the middle with light blue sheets and a drawer in the off-hand corner. A sigh left the new visitor with a calmness washing over her. She hoped that one day, she could try to fix her life over again. A strange first year student at Karasuno High, named Atia Ernestine, didn't hesitate to join the team. She is registered as the thirteenth player, the extra player, or the temp. Her role in the team is to replace a player on the court if injured or sick. ❝This girl is uncontrollable. She's too free-spirited and reckless. She never takes anything seriously, but...that's until she goes berserk❞ Atia is known to her team and their rivals for her unpredictable "Berserk Mode" in which she unintentionally defies her team on court and fights on her own, using brute force and fast actions. It also triggers her to do striking moves and not many can keep up. She has no control over her "Berserk Mode" and sees it as an alter-ego. There is a mystery behind her special abilities in which she has to solve on her own. It is connected to her junior high years, in which she has no memory of.
