Kota is a very academically gifted student, though he prefers to show it through his work. when one of the volleyball's team members, Kenma Kozume needs a little academic assistance in order to be able to continue to play in games without his grades getting in the way. Rei was on the situation in a matter of seconds, suggesting to the team that Kota help Kenma. hearing Kota's true name come from someone other than his best friend and her father gave him a sense of euphoria, a feeling that things might look up. despite not being accepted by his family and essentially attempt to go stealth in school and failing, maybe things will be looking up for Kota.
