Skateboarding, soccer,... Addison is a fun athletic teenage girl. She can't go on a day without sweat trickling down her face. Everyday she goes out with her friend, James, to do things that they would laugh at when they're older. Really fun. It's pretty much a crazy life for her.

Addie is just a normal 8th grader. Her best friend convinces her to try out for the school play, Hairspray, and she does it only for her. She's planning on only getting a small role, when she lands the lead role! Her opposite in the play, Lucas, is best friends with her major crush, Shane...but is Lucas better for her? She also deals with boy drama, best friend drama, family drama, and REAL drama - as in acting for her play. Addie learns to discover herself, and that doesn't always mean she has to do what's "typically her".
