They never expected to end up at Holoschool. It wasn't famous, it wasn't recommended, and half of them weren't sure it even existed before the letter showed up. But when every other college turned them down, Holoschool was the only place that said yes. So they went. It seemed normal enough at first glance-quiet campus, crowded hallways, typical first-day confusion. But as days go by, small details start to stand out. People who act a little too calm. Shadows that don't quite match. Students who feel familiar even when they've never met. Nothing huge. Nothing worth panicking over. Just little things that add up.
