What happens when Hakuji, who wants to care for and help his sick father, meets Yukiro, someone cursed with a chronic illness who is too independent to accept the help Hakuji offers? Yukiro understands that systems are flawed; people will judge them for hunting, yet at the same time indulge in the fruits of the thing they claim to hate. Yukiro's parents always told them to just focus on being their true self despite having a sickness with no cure. That sickness would never stop Yukiro from living their life, though. Sometimes this independence means refusing help even when they need it the most. A story of a boy who learns that to care for others, he must first care for himself; you can't help anyone if you're dead. And a trans-masc who learns that being independent does not mean having to do it all alone. This book will cover the events between Yukiro and Hakuji up to the point when he becomes a demon. I plan for this to be a 3-book series don't want to spoil too much for the future books, but I hope you like werewolves.

Through a series of unfortunate events, Hakuji didn't ask for this. He didn't ask to be sent into a never-ending world where he didn't seem to have control over his actions? Going into story after stories of classic fairy tales and stuff, some things might just be twisted a little too much for his liking. Who was he without Koyuki? Who was he without his... Maybe there's an eventual end to this. Perhaps, they could build their own story within this one?
