Halcyon [hal-see-uhn] adj. Happy. Carefree. But her life's anything but. Ever since her dad bailed so many years ago, her mom hasn't been the same. Her mom's drinking habits have turned from bad to worse. Drunken slurs and meaningless talks become abusive words and smacks. She has a chance to escape, but she can't leave without her childhood friend Cade, the only bright light in her less than spectacular life. They made a promise years ago to never leave each other. But can that promise be kept with the meddling of abusive parents, social workers, and the return of someone in Hallie's life?

There is a Halcyon War within the Halcyon Fold. The story is told through Kestrel in her diary. Watch what happens as the story unfolds bringing danger, friendship, and excitement. (You might not understand completely if you don't know the game Vainglory a free app that is very very fun.)

Renesmee, top student at ATS seeks for a new beginning after years being bullied, stabbed and taken for granted.
