For the most part of their life they only had eachother to lean on, and even if the both of them were happy to have someone to talk to, Thomas wished to have something else, someone who could bring him out of the hell in his house just like he did with his sister. So, when he and Krista met Nadine Franklin, Thomas knew that she would've been his best friend for ever...or maybe more.
