Growing up by in a valley with him and his Dad, Sunn is kept in the dark by many of the secrets his dad keeps from him, from what he does to details about Sunn's own mother. It isn't until Sunn discovers a group of goblins which ultimately unravel each of his Dad's secrets, which sends Sunn on a path to discover who he is and, ultimately, what he wants to become.

Shane is a human. His sister is a Blessed, and Shane is bitterly jealous. But the Cloaked Hunters are out to get him and his sister, and he needs to protect her. Along the way he meets a mysterious girl with her own magical powers, and he and his sister take her in.
