Remi Maye is a teenage girl who's dad owns a halfway-house for troubled children and orphans until they can be placed in a foster home, or the care of an adoptive family. She helps out the best she can, but she's still recovering from a head injury she got when she was 10 years old. After a bad case of amnesia and years of therapy, Remi is re-learning things about herself that noone else knew. When Lucas is suddenly tossed into the mix, everyone but Remi seems to be keeping something a secret. She can't shake the feeling that she knows, or maybe knew Lucas, but everyone refuses to tell her anything. So she has to find out herself the mystery of her own past.
