Rhea's cousins, Monica and Cohen, move in with her family for a year. As she's tackling being a junior in high school, she has to put up with her cousins who want nothing more than to get back to their lives in South Carolina. She's just trying to live a normal life, and be herself but her plans get ruined by her manipulative cousin Monica, aka queen bee of the school. Her patience will be tested and her year a rollercoaster of emotions as her cousin tries to make high school anything but normal. As secrets get spilled and friendships torn apart, Ree has to decide if she's going to make the most out of her high school years or give up on her happiness. Will she see the glass as half full, or half empty?
