A trilogy of 3 interconnected very short flash fiction stories about youth, sadness and recovery.

One shots for the much loved couple in EastEnders Ben and Callum ( also known as Ballum) . Ben and Callum both live on Albert Square. Callum is an undertaker and Ben is a mechanic. They are both different but they have a spark- ever since they first met. Ben is a layered character. He has gone through so much including being abused as a child, his mother faking her death and then "coming back from the dead" and his boyfriend Paul being beaten to death in a homophobic attack. Callum was a chef in the army. He is gay and has only just come out after 28 years. Ben has helped him through all this. Callum was going to get married to Whitney, but she walked out of the wedding after finding out he was gay. All of the above is what has happened in EastEnders. My story that I am writing is what I made up!

This is a book full of random poetry from the depths of my imagination. Each poem holds a special place in my heart, as they are either my way of making sense out of this crazy world, reflecting on a past experience, or just plain storytelling in words that rhyme. Zoey and her boyfriend Jimmy used to have it all. They were in love, they had a great relationship and great lives. But then Jimmy died and Zoey's world fell into pieces. She decides she must see him again and makes the life altering decision to cross over to the Halfway World, where she finds that their being together won't be so simple. Soon they're on the run from forces that Zoey's suddenly not sure their unbreakable love can withstand.

Five detectives are investigating disappearances of girls from a halfway house. A halfway house with a long history before them that they have no idea about. Are the girls running away, being kidnapped or is there something else happening that no one will be willing to accept or admit to?
