After inheriting a crumbling psychiatric clinic in Haddonfield, Eliza Monroe uncovers chilling remnants of its most infamous patient: Michael Myers. As she sifts through her late uncle's journals and the clinic's decaying archives, Eliza begins to experience strange phenomena-music playing from nowhere, masked figures in the dark, and memories that aren't hers. The deeper she digs, the more she questions her own identity. Is she unraveling the truth... or becoming part of it? *The Shape Beneath* is a psychological horror that blurs reality and madness, weaving journal entries, haunting melodies, and a legacy soaked in blood. For fans of dark romance, unreliable narrators, and stories that linger long after the last page. **He never spoke. But now, he's writing through me.**

The dress fits like a dream, instantly transforming her into the belle of the ball. But as the night wears on, something sinister begins to stir. The costume isn't just fabric and sequins. It's a memory, a whisper from the past, clinging to every thread. Sarah's own laughter slowly gives way to an unfamiliar, cold smile. Her thoughts become clouded by visions of a forgotten era, and her reflection shows a face that isn't entirely her own. The dress once belonged to a girl with a secret, a heartbreak, and a life brutally cut short a century ago. Now, a vengeful spirit demands to be seen, to be heard, to reclaim what was hers-and Sarah is just the vessel. As Sarah fights to hold onto her own mind, she discovers that some fashion statements come with an eternal price. Can she unravel the century-old mystery before the girl in the dress takes over completely, and turns her Halloween night into a permanent, chilling nightmare? In the world of NIGHT SHIVERS, some stories refuse to stay buried...

They went out as six. They came back as six. That's the part that makes it worse. Halloween night in Altrincham. Costumes, Snapchat stories, trick-or-treating through streets that started feeling wrong in ways nobody could name. Decorations that looked less like decoration and more like warning. A Grim Reaper silhouette appearing in upstairs windows across town - simultaneously, impossibly - watching them move. Group photos showing a seventh figure nobody saw standing there. Phones delivering messages that were never sent. By the time they made it back to the house, something had already followed them inside. It had been listening all night. To every word, every laugh, every whispered conversation on every dark street. Recording. Learning. Building something from the material it collected - the way each of them moved, spoke, hesitated, breathed. It wasn't random. It wasn't looking for victims. It was looking for a replacement. The wardrobe opened on its own. The count kept coming back wrong. And one by one, the things they thought they knew about each other - about themselves - started to come apart. Something is still in that house. Something is still wearing the face it chose. And the scariest part isn't what happened on Halloween night. It's that by morning, nobody could prove it hadn't always been there.
