Hallowen Stories

Since my 1st Halloween book was a hit, I thought I'd do book #2. Just like my 1st book, you request what you want or who you want. I just won't do the new horror movies such as the Conjuring series, for I'm not a fan of those movies.

She was just ten when she started to live with her grandparents and she remembered just like it was yesterday an uncle of hers was said to be sick and possessed behind the forbidden door inside the devil's den. When he died some months later it was something that kept her wondering...But before he died, she sat by his door and knocked one clod evening. No one replied, loud enough to be heard clearly only muffled sounds then she heard-she heard the most croaked and crankiest of voice she has ever heard -the voice of someone leaving the living world whisper... I remember laughing at the story, thinking it was just a fairy tale created to scare children. But that night, everything changed, the cold of the night I crept through the slightly open window, piercing my skin to my bones. I felt a strange heavy air, like something hidden in the darkness, watching my every move. Maybe that's why I stayed awake, I chose to lie in bed with a blanket that felt too thin to block the fear that was slowly creeping into me.
